This is a cold water dye for natural fiber fabrics. (cotton, linen, rayon). The most ideal dye for batiking and tie-dyeing. Works great for solid color dyeing too! Colors are vivid and permanent. each jar of dye will color one pound dry weight (3-6 sq. yards of fabric or 3 T-shirts). The final color of the dye is accurate to the color on the jar's label. Sometimes the dry, powdered dye appears to be completely different than the color described on the label, but dont worry, it will be much closer to the color on the label.
