* When using Paraffin for batiking, mix with beeswax. The more paraffin you add to you batik wax mixture, the more it will crack, giving you more hair-thin lines characteristic of traditional batiking. (the dye will run between the cracked wax) The more beeswax you add to your mixture, the less cracks you will have, because beeswax has more flex than the parafin. To remove the wax from your fabic after dyeing, use Synthrapol.
