See More Feathers

These stiff feathers are called quills. They have a stiff stalk, and the feahter stays collected and neat. Sometimes there is a tuff of whispy feathers at the base.
Each feather varies a little bit, mother nature's fault.
the quills are great for costumes and crafts.
i guess you could try and dip them into ink and write with it, but im not sure the feahter was meant for that.
