Small size rivet for fastening lightweight canvas, up to double ply cotton, polyster, single layer denim, etc. All you need is a hammer to pound them together. No special setters needed. Just put the short end down (on concrete or a slab of flat wood preferrably), push the post end through the material and into the existing cap, and pound it with the hammer a couple of times until it's smashed shut.
Dont over pound it, it tends to make the the rivet tilt to an angle if you do.

The post is 1/8" long and the head is 1/4" diameter.
