Give your projects that aged look with Blacken-it. Works on most metals except Stainless, and Aluminum. This agent will blacken the surface of your metal. Control what gets black and what doesnt by using some vaseline/tape on your piece before submerging it. Childproof cap.
Blacken it wont rub off because it actually reacts with the surface of the metal. This is not a paint, although it can be brushed on (submerging is more effective). The reccomended metals are brass, steel(not stainless), nickel, silver, copper & zamac. look below for a chart that we made using Blacken-it with some of our jewelry findings.
