This solution is formulated to work best when applied to the metallic surfacers offered by Sophisticated Finishes. Patina Blue will work on on Sophisticated finishes: Copper, Gold, Dark Bronze, Blonde Bronze.

Apply the patina solution to the surfacer to while its still slightly tacky, generally within 10-20 minutes.
When applying Patina Blue to genuine copper, brass or bronze, the surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, paint and/or sealers. Apply a very light coat patina blue.
Sealing: The patina may stain surfaces that recieve water runoff. Treating the Patina blue with a water-based acrylic sealer may be desireable.

Do not use this on cooking, clothing, or perfume objects.
