This finding is used to clamp onto the ends of your straps, ribbons, belts, etc. These crimps have tiny teeth that will bite into your material when closed. Not intended to support heavy loads. This piece can accomodate materials up to 1/8" thick.
Squeeze the two sides closed with some pliers.
